Your agreements with RenOS

Terms and conditions

RenOS provides project software, introductions, bidding tools, document storage and payment instructions. Contractors, subcontractors, investors and lenders act independently. An introduction, rating, document upload or software estimate is not a recommendation, guarantee of performance, appraisal, insurance policy or confirmation of legal eligibility.

You must be at least 18, provide accurate information, be authorized to bind the business you represent, safeguard your account and use the service lawfully. Do not upload sensitive personal records beyond what is necessary, impersonate another business, misrepresent credentials, send unsolicited messages contrary to law or share information you lack permission to disclose.

Before hiring or beginning work, the hiring party must independently check identity, current trade and local licensing, disciplinary history, insurance directly with the carrier or agent, workers compensation coverage or valid exemption, references, scope, permits, payment schedule and a signed construction contract. Public records may be incomplete, delayed or limited to a jurisdiction. RenOS records show the source and date of a check; they do not guarantee present eligibility or coverage.

GC bids display the applicable one-time marketing and technology fee before submission and acceptance. Unless the displayed bid says otherwise, the fee is $5,000 for a GC project won through RenOS, collected once from the first eligible approved draw and credited to RenOS. The gross draw, platform fee and net GC transfer are disclosed before release. A draw must exceed the outstanding fee. Subcontractor introductions currently have no success fee. Monthly subscriptions and disclosed payment-processing charges are separate. Later policy changes do not change an accepted bid's fee snapshot.

GCs and subcontractors may join, complete credentials and bid without a subscription until they accept their first awarded bid. Accepting that first award ends the free period. A current GC and subcontractor membership is required for subsequent bids and award acceptances across either trade role; changing a profile does not restart the free period. Existing awarded project work, payment requests and account records remain accessible. The monthly amount is displayed before subscription checkout; no automatic subscription charge is authorized by a bid or award acceptance. Subscribe through the payment provider to begin recurring billing, which renews until canceled. This subscription is separate from the one-time GC success fee. Pricing and payment setup must be available before checkout can be completed.

An award requires contractor acceptance. No work, funding or payment is guaranteed. Hiring parties and contractors agree their construction contract separately. A cancelled award before an eligible paid draw does not trigger an automatic debit. Collected-fee refunds, payment reversals and disputes require review; no second fee is automatically collected to cover a reversal. Do not use RenOS to evade a fee you expressly accepted for an introduced project.

Payments, when activated, are processed by the named payment provider and are subject to its terms, verification, settlement, dispute and return rules. RenOS does not offer an escrow account or escrow protections. Funding is not payment to a contractor; work approval and cleared funds are required for release. Do not start work in reliance on a pending or failed payment.

You retain rights in submitted materials and authorize RenOS to store, process and share them as necessary to provide the requested service. Only the project summary you authorize is shared for introductions. Credentials you submit with bids may be reviewed by the hiring party and RenOS administrators. You may withdraw from future introductions and request account assistance through the support channel in your workspace.

RenOS may suspend misuse or unavailable integrations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and third-party estimates are provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted service, accuracy or contractor outcomes. Nothing in these terms waives nonwaivable rights or excuses RenOS's fraud, willful misconduct or gross negligence. Changes to these agreements require a new recorded acceptance; the version accepted remains available in your acceptance record.

Privacy policy

RenOS stores account identity, role and access permissions, project information, bids, credential documents, verification records, agreement acceptances, payment references and service activity. It uses this information to operate the workspace, protect access, deliver requested introductions, administer bids and fees, and maintain an audit trail.

Your uploaded credentials are private to you, RenOS administrators and hiring parties to whom you submit a bid or introduction response. Public project listings contain only the summary the owner authorizes. Your business profile appears in matching only when you opt in; opting out stops future discovery but does not remove existing bids or transaction records.

Configured service providers may process necessary data: hosting and storage providers, payment processors, email delivery providers and property-data sources. Optional AI drafting uses only the approved project summary and business name; insurance documents, passwords and banking details are not sent for drafting. External Google or licensing links operate under those providers' privacy policies.

RenOS does not sell credential documents. Authorized workspace participants may retain information needed for their contracts, disputes and legal obligations. Records are retained as needed to provide the service, preserve accepted agreements and transaction audit trails, or satisfy applicable obligations. Request access, correction, deletion or help through the workspace support channel; some financial and contractual records may need to be retained.

Commercial introduction messages include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future introduction emails to that address, including queued messages, but does not remove necessary account or transaction notices. Account cookies are used for authentication and security. No system is guaranteed to prevent every unauthorized access; report suspected misuse promptly.

Risk acknowledgment, waiver and indemnification agreement

You acknowledge that construction, hiring, lending and property investment involve risks including delays, defects, loss, injury, uninsured claims and changes in value. You make your own hiring and investment decisions and must perform independent due diligence. A displayed rating, submitted credential or public-record match does not transfer that responsibility to RenOS.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you release RenOS from claims arising solely from an independent contractor's or other user's acts or omissions for which RenOS is not legally responsible. This is not a release of RenOS's own fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence or any right that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold RenOS harmless from third-party claims and reasonable, documented costs caused by your material breach of these agreements, false credentials, unlawful conduct, infringement of others' rights, or negligence or misconduct in work you perform. This obligation applies only to the extent the claim is attributable to you; it does not require you to indemnify RenOS for its own negligence or misconduct.

RenOS must give reasonably prompt notice of a claim and a reasonable opportunity to participate in its defense. No settlement may impose an admission, nonmonetary obligation or unapproved payment obligation on you without your written consent. RenOS must reasonably cooperate in the defense. You must maintain coverage required by your work, contracts and applicable law; this agreement does not replace insurance.

By separately checking acceptance and submitting, you confirm you read and agree to this document, the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, and consent to an electronic record of your agreement tied to your account and the displayed version. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.

Google Maps search

Google contractor search is subject to the Google Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. RenOS sends the requested trade and city to Google for results. Search ratings are not credential verification.
